Build a transport business without owning a car
Recruit drivers and riders onto Velocity Rides, run them as your fleet, and take a share of what Velocity Rides earns from every ride they complete. One five-digit code builds both fleets — a driver who redeems it joins your driver fleet, a passenger joins your rider fleet.
You earn a share of Velocity Rides' commission, never of the fare. On a Rs 2,000 ride with a 5% commission, a 2% Pro rate pays you Rs 2 — 2% of the Rs 100 commission, not of the fare. The fare belongs to the driver.

The things people ask first
Do I need a card or a bank account?
No. Cash is a full payment method on Velocity Rides, not a fallback. You book, you ride, you pay the driver at the end. A wallet is there if you want it, but nothing requires it.
How does pooling actually save money?
The fare for the trip is worked out once, then split by how many people are in the car. On your own you pay 100%. With two riders you each pay 60%, with three 45%, and with four 35% — so a full car costs each person about a third of the solo fare.
Can I choose what to pay?
You offer a fare when you book, and drivers nearby decide whether to take it. The fare engine on the server sets the bounds so nobody can offer something that would not cover the trip.
What happens if something goes wrong mid-ride?
For anything frightening — a fight, a threat, an assault — call the police on 15 from the Safety Centre inside the app. It dials for you and tells our safety desk at the same moment, with the plate, the driver and the last known position already attached. Rescue 1122 is on the same screen for an accident. The SOS button raises a live alert on the desk, route deviations can be flagged the same way, and every co-rider added to a pool mid-trip is shown to you.
I want to drive — what do I actually earn?
The fare is yours; you collect it in cash at the end of the ride. Velocity Rides takes a commission on the cash you collect, and it is charged by the day. Right now: complete 16 pool rides in a day and that whole day costs you no commission at all. Fall short and the day owes 5% of the cash you took — it becomes due at midnight, and you clear it by bank transfer before taking more rides, which the app walks you through in a couple of minutes. Nothing is ever owed while the day is still running, because you have the whole day to reach the target. The app shows your live count, what the day will cost you if you stop now, and exactly what is still missing if a day will not qualify.
Can my family follow my ride?
Yes. Tap share on the trip screen and you get a link that opens in any browser — no app, no account. Whoever you send it to sees the ride’s status, the car moving on a map, the number plate and the driver’s phone number, so they can act without having to reach you first. The link stops working when you arrive, and you can revoke it at any time.
Someone tried to scam me. What do I do?
Report it in two places, because they do different things. Velocity Rides can refund what we charged and ban the account — open the Safety Centre and file it there. Only Pakistan’s cybercrime agency, NCCIA, can investigate and recover money: call 1799 or file at complaint.nccia.gov.pk. Keep your screenshots. And note that Velocity Rides staff never ask for an OTP, a PIN, a card number, or a transfer to a personal account — anyone who does is not us.
Do I get a real person if I need one?
Always. Velocity Rapid Response answers immediately so simple questions are settled in seconds, and the moment you ask for a human — in English or Urdu, typed or by tapping the button — the conversation moves to a member of our team in the same chat. Safety reports and scams never touch the assistant at all; they open as urgent tickets owned by a person from the first second.
Is Velocity Rides on iPhone?
Velocity Rides is on Google Play for Android today. The iOS build is in progress — the app is one codebase, so it is a release step rather than a rewrite.
Which cities does it cover?
Velocity Rides is built for Pakistan and works wherever there are drivers signed up nearby. Intercity seats run between the cities operators have published trips for, and you can see the list inside the app before you book.
